Teambuilding Murder Mystery Events

Our team building murder mystery events can be day-time or evening, with the event and duration timetabled around your requirements. Your unique Murder Mystery will offer unparalleled benefits as a fun event, devised to promote communication, initiative, understanding and obviously teamwork. Clients are invited to form detection teams and participate in a murder investigation. This will provoke the application of analytical reasoning and deductive abilities as teams amass and discuss lines of enquiries to advance their own investigations before presentation skills are called upon as you sum up your case!

Our professional actors and writers (including ex and serving police officers!) stage the most realistic scenarios for you to investigate. For extra realism you may also wish to book our uniformed officers – the team we use have been featured on ‘Happy Valley’, ‘Hollyoaks’ & James Bond films!

murder mystery team building

Your WhoDunnit Murder Mystery is based around a fictitious event that causes the ‘suspects’ and guests to be at your chosen venue. As the event unfolds, arguments and threats will be observed, which will be the prelude to murder. Participants are encouraged to question the characters, and an intriguing array of clues are displayed in an incident room which is continually updated as more evidence is unearthed as your enquiry progresses.

Individuals are encouraged to use their communication skills in discussions with other ‘jury members’, and their interrogation of the suspects. Finally, the groups reform, reach a majority verdict, elect a spokesperson and sum up their case, before all is revealed… Participants will be called upon to utilise both independent initiative and team-working skills. Individuals will also gain confidence in their communication skills and ultimately function more effectively within their organisations. Check out our previous client list here!

Testimonials

“An excellent performance – fantastic fun. I made a point of talking to staff members who were apprehensive to the idea of a murder mystery. To a man they all enjoyed themselves and the event is still a talking point and will be for some time. As you know the idea was, subsequent to our merger, to allow staff from both offices to get to know each other and improve everyones working relationship. This has been a huge success and is a credit to your team.” – SHEENA GORDON, PRACTICE MANAGER, SCOTT-MONCRIEFF DOWNIE WILSON

“On behalf of the Faculty of Engineering APM-hub thank you for a great murder mystery event. It was perfect for our team building day. From the onset, we were absorbed in the scenario. The acting was fantastic and we would definitely recommend Murder One” JANE ENGLAND, BUSINESS SYSTEMS MANAGER, NOTTINGHAM UNIVERSITY

“A fantastic evening, enjoyed by everyone, even those who were sceptical that this would be a worthwhile marketing activity! There wasn’t a single person who didn’t enjoy it. There was no pressure to participate if you didn’t want to – but somehow you just got drawn in. People are already talking about ‘next time’! It was a great way to enjoy an evening with clients – an excellent alternative to the normal networking event” – GILL BUTCHARD, PARTNER OF ZENITH CHAMBERS
