Murder One are delighted to be staging a murder mystery event in Stoke On Trent at The Upper House, situated ten minutes from junction 15 of the M6. It is set in 10 acres of woodlands and beautifully landscaped gardens. The innovative restaurant prides itself on using the finest local produce as much as possible.
Plot : The Mason Banks Codicil
The event:
In this unique Murder Mystery dinner you are invited to the wake following the funeral of Mason Banks. Solicitor Rodney Maple-Mellor gathers you all for the reading of Mason Banks’ last will and testament. Also assembled are so-called friends and remaining family of the late and unlamented bar owner. But who is to benefit in the codicil to Mason’s will? – Surely not his disgraced son, OCD sufferer Clinton Banks?
And why is a known arsonist Tommy Ackerson at the wake? When Mason’s wife Chloe was found drowned in a reservoir 6 months ago, the only hope was that this would be an end to the tragedies that have befallen the Banks family. However, the worst is yet to come! And a crucial piece of evidence held by Mason’s cleaner, Ronice Pavalac, is set to turn this case on its head….
The event is totally interactive, but you’re not required to role play – professional actors play the characters and you’re encouraged to question the suspects at your table, follow and eavesdrop upon them, and an intriguing array of evidence is displayed around the function room – now turned into a major incident room!
