Harrogate Murder Mystery
Murder One are delighted to be returning to the DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa in Harrogate for another Murder Mystery. Built in 1889, the hotel sits in eight acres of landscaped gardens in the heart of Harrogate. For those wishing to stay the night (if they survive our whodunnit!) Betty’e Cafe, the Royal Hall and Harrogate Convention Centre are a five-minute walk away.. The hotel’s spa also features six beauty treatment rooms, a steam room, sauna, and indoor pool.
On Saturday 21st November 2026 a killer will be attempting to stage the perfect murder. You are invited, and indeed challenged, to unmask them!
Plot: Death Of The Cambrils Princess
On this event you will meet new hotel managers Silvia and Reuben Stone. Anxious that their new venture is a success they and their new key staff are mingling with you. But what is behind the bitterness of journalist Kirsty O’Connor, hired to write an article for Mr & Mrs Stone? And why is their son, who recently nearly drowned, kept hidden away out of sight? As family and friends strive on the surface to make the evening a success, several harbour hatred and suspicion. One thing soon becomes certain – Someone will be checking out of the hotel – in a body bag…
In this immersive whodunnit you’ll be encouraged to study clues in the incident room, interrogate suspects and discover who is lying – and who is lying dead!
The Event:
This murder mystery dinner is totally interactive, but you’re not required to role play . The actors play the characters and you’re encouraged to question the suspects at your table. You may also follow and eavesdrop upon them, and an intriguing array of evidence is displayed around the function room – now a major incident room! At the end of the event any brave sleuths wishing to do so may sum up their case before all is revealed!
