Kate’s dreams of becoming an actress were put on hold when she became a mum while studying for her Film & Drama degree. She graduated with a toddler in tow, but then spent the subsequent 20yrs building a stable corporate boring career whilst raising her son solo. Fast forward to 2021, redundancy, a pandemic and a kid that could finally fend for himself finally gave her the kick up the backside to get back on track. Since then, she’s acted in countless short films, three feature films, three TV series and two plays. She gallivants around in mascot outfits, is a regular character performer for Stockeld Park and Same Difference Arts, sings a capella Victorian Christmas Carols and partakes in kid’s parties and school workshops…. And of course, when she gets time, she loves being a suspect for Murder One
